I know we have talked a ton about SEO (search engine optimization) and it’s importance to your business. However, I just heard this term thrown out there and think it is worth talking about. SMO – Social Media Optimization.
SMO is a way to use Facebook, Twitter, Digg and other social media outlets as a way to promote your business. Each of these avenuses has unique aspects and may or may not offer you additional exposure for your business.
I am still learning the ropes to using social media. I have to admit I do not have a fan p age for the SEO Field Guide nor do I have a twitter account. These are both things that would truly help my business out and allow me to get my message out to others.
