We have already talked about verifying your website with Google and with Bing. However you also will want to Yahoo is also searching your website.
You may wonder why you need to list your website with any search engine other then Google, but despite the fact that Google is the most used search engine there are still people who use other search engines, so you want to make sure you come up on those searches as well.
Steps:
1. Go to Yahoo Site Explorer: You will be asked to sign in to your yahoo account, if you do not have one you will need to create one.
2. Enter your website url that you wish ot have searched. YOu can do your blog on it’s own url.
3. You will be given the choice to either add a meta tag tag or to place a file on your server. The option that will work best for you will depend up on your website and how you have it set up. If you have a blog or blog site you wil do the file on , if you have a website where you can editor your meat data then you may want ot use the meta tag.
Then load the files to your server.
